Group 7 Day 5

Today was a big day as it was the last full day of the skiing course in Haute-Nendaz so we were going to make the most of it. We spent the day in Tracouet and were determined to get off the blue slopes so we asked our instructor Thomas if we could and he took us on a blue slope which turned into a steep red slope. There was not many injuries but a very brave Miss Bizzell took a fall on the slope and even though she was scared of the rest of the slope she still courageously went down the rest and carried on skiing through the day. We did that slope a couple of times and then Thomas took us on a full red slope which made us feel very nervous but still very excited. We went down it and felt very proud of ourselves as it was very hard. We are very grateful to the teachers for all of their advice and support!

Group 5, Day 5

Group 5 went to Thyon today. We took the bus to Siviez and got on a button lift that was so long and high up that people's hair froze! We warmed up nicely though with a longer gentle ski and took in some lovely scenery a long the way. Lots of reds later, the group were tired and had lunch in Thyon. The afternoon brought new challenges- black slopes and a couple of falls. What a fab day all round!!
